Nearly 2 years ago I lost the domain StrangeNewWorld.net as a result of a billing mix-up with my registrar GoDaddy.com. They wanted $80 to recover the name!
The name eventually went unregistered and I was able to re-register it this week! MaidenFlorida.com will remain the address for this site but it's nice to have the original domain name back. StrangeNewWorld.net was the main address of this site from Dec. 25, 2000 until August 30, 2003 when it was changed to MaidenFlorida.com.

In addition to the Essential Iron Maiden released earlier this year, we are getting a live album and a new tribute album. The live album is Death On the Road from the recent tour for Dance Of Dance. The other album is a tribute album featuring so many artists you won't believe it. Even better, I reviewed these for WBUL (University Of South Florida Student Radio Station). Dimebag Darrel Murdered at Ohio Concert

Dimebag Darrell of Pantera and Damageplan was shot and killed last night at a concert in
Columbus, OH. At least two fans were killed as well. This is a sad day for the metal world.
